The 10th annual Friends of the Brown Deer Library Spring Plant sale is going on now. “Shade Impatiens (Pink, Red, Orange, and Mixed)” “”Million Bells (Pink, Red)” “Moss Roses” “Geraniums(Ivy, and White, Red, and Salmon)” are just a few of the 32 varieties of flowering plants hoping to brighten your garden or patio or deck this Spring at this Annual fund-raising sale. All proceeds support the Brown Deer Library, and as always, we are very grateful for your generosity.

I and my wife bought a large planter pot last year the “European Planter” and the flowers bloomed abundantly all through the summer into October, it looked really colorful on our deck. We plan to buy something similar this year.

Planters, hanging baskets, single potted plants and plenty of half-flats are available this year as well: Blue Ageratum, Alyssum, Coleus, Wax Begonia, Dusty Miller (Silver only), Shade Impatiens, Blue Lobelia, Tall & Dwarf Marigold, Pansy, Petunia, Moss Roses, Salvia, and Zinnia. Also some 4 inch, Green Bell Peppers and Burpee Big Boy Tomatoes.

Order forms are available at the Library or Village Hall, please complete your order form and return by mail or in person along with your check to the Brown Deer Library, 5600 W. Bradley Rd. Brown Deer, WI 53223 before Saturday, April 28th. Your order will be filled and you may pick up the order on Saturday, May 19th between 10 AM and 1 PM at the Brown Deer Library parking lot, again, 5600 W. Bradley Rd.
