POWER AND DOMINANCE.

By Joe Mangiamele

A straight-line motivation as unbending as a beam of steel holds within it no humility, no humanity and no sensitivity. It is merely a steel shaft.

Consistency like steel is without humanity and therefore evil. In its existence it is a form of abuse, especially as a power politically applied toward individuals or toward social groups.

Single-mindedness, for example, directed toward impacting on a simple element of government, such as property tax, is a form of exercised dominance, usually insensitive to community and insensitive to the humanity that exists there.

Derived dominance contains inhumanity, insensitivity and abusiveness within its overall prevailing nature and desire. Corruption then of course, not far behind, is fed by these traits and its path then is laid out here in all of this.

However, the citizen government of Shorewood has the power to do whatever it wants to do. Therefore, why should we be rushed into taking action, action that is not right for us in the long run. We have time to think out the actions we should take. Let's distribute the decision-making further out among the citizens of the community over a longer period of time.
