Hopefully you've already heard the news thanks to our many media sponsors that on Tuesday, June 3rd, the BVNA and Milwaukee County Parks kick off the 2008 Chill on the Hill Concert Series! Our first of 13 concerts at the Humboldt Park Bandshell begins at 6:00 p.m. with the very talented Fritsche Drumline! Milwaukee Latin Jazz Band De La Buena takes the stage at 6:30. There is sure to be dancing in the park, rain or shine. Add to that free parking, plenty of lawn space, food and beverage concessions, promotions and contests at the park and there's sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. After the concert, head over to June 3rd sponsor Highbury Pub at 2322 S KK Avenue, to hear Bay View locals Dave Wake of De La Buena, and 88Nine's Peter Adams spinning music for the official Chill on the Hill After Party.
